Nothing particularly new to report. Still waiting. Been shooting with the sigma 30/2.8 on the E-PL1 a fair amount (I’ll share pictures soon) both in a studio setup and also out and about some. So far no complaints on the lens other than that slow startup time. The quality on the lens is really suprising for the price.
Whilst waiting, I thought I’d share the blog and a specific blog post by a Malaysian blogger that I read frequently, Robin Wong. He does mostly street shooting and is very good at it using mostly 4/3rds (E-5) and some Pen m4/3rds shooting. It pretains to the subject of political and social justice. Malaysia has a rather corrupt political system for a “free democracy” and Robin covered one of the recent major protests.

Anyway, check out his blog for his coverage. He speaks to the injustices, treading lightly due to restricted “free speech” in Malaysia. However, please take a look both to help raise awareness of the issues and also if you haven’t ever seen Robin Wong’s work, be introduced to a really great street photographer’s blog.
