Anyway, I ran around with the kids outside with the E-PL1 around my next and, mostly, sigma 30/2.8 for awhile Sunday afternoon. I am really loving this lens. It might not be the most special lens ever, but it just focuses so quickly and quietly and the image quality has absolutely no faults worth mentioning (at least for me). First shot is actually from the Panasonic 14mm, but its not generally well suited for taking pictures of highly mobile children and toddlers so it quickly got replaced on the camera with the sigma for the rest of the afternoon.
Maryland lately has been overcast about 90% of the time it seems like, so in some ways a little of me is glad that the E-M5 hasn’t shown up yet, otherwise I’d feel a bit like I was wasting it waiting for some decent weather.
