I am managing to sneak in a post after all. I’ve had a little more time with the m.Zuiko 17mm f/2.8 under my belt. Further impressions, it is a relatively unremarkable lens that I am having fun with. I like the 34mm equivalent field of view quite a bit. At least on an E-M5 body focusing is pretty fast if not stellar. The lens is a little soft wide open and never seems to get super sharp when stopped down, but it isn’t BAD soft, again just never stellar, but perfectly usable. The lens is small, light and I got it for a song.

Not related to the 17mm, but I am also attempting to spend more time with the 45mm and the lens is just plain wicked sharp no matter how you use it (I guess it might not be if you wave it around while also taking pictures).
